This is one of the most important books exploring neuroscience and ideas about learning that I have ever read, because it is so timely. We are in danger of being in thrall to neuroscience and believing this young discipline can tell us how to teach. Of course, neuroscience is exciting and often supports what many of us have understood from practice / praxis and from research in other relevant disciplines. This book not only exposes the limitations of neuroscience but highlights its achievements. This is the book I do soooooo wish I'd written! It's wonderful, an exceptional addition to the fields of psychology, child development and early childhood studies.
