Just finished reading the ebook of Arnie's autobiography, I was slightly dissapointed that much more time is take up on Arnie's adventures as governor of California than was given to his film career.

Ok you get quite a bit of detail on Arnie's two breakthru movies Conan the Barbarian and The Terminator but then most of the other classics are just kind of mentioned in a disposable lightweight kind of way, Commando, Predator, Totall Recall, Terminator 2 all get short shrift while the Governator chapters go into great detail of how Arnie first won, then kind of fell out of favour with the public then rose again to actually do two terms of office.

Never got to play The Warriors when it was originally released for PS2 and Xbox, recently purchased an xbox off a mate who was selling his because of moving house. All i can say is that rockstar did it again with this game. Theres loads to do. I suppose you could call this a hark back to the 2d fighting games of yesteryear but only in 3d. The fighting is quite basic with punches and kicks, also diving tackles which lead to pummeling your opponent on the ground. What can you say about Where Eagles Dare, It's an absolute classic, superb acting, brilliant cinematography, great action and stunts plus an excellent Alistair McLean script. Unfortunatly the Bluray is only average the print looks only marginally better than the region one DVD copy that i own and although looks bright and clean in some scenes, other scenes look to dark and grainy. Also the extras are the same as the DVD version, just a theatrical trailer and a brief but fascinating documentary on the filming.
It really could have done with a complete remastering job. It's still definatley worth buying though if just for the quality of the film itself, Burton is cool but Eastwood's role… Read more
