Where Do Comedians Go When They Die?: Journey of a&hellip by Milton Jones
Sometimes a book doesn't need to be full of twists or to put to bed all the issues of the day. Sometimes a book can be like a good friend, nice to know and fun to be with. This book was a very good companion to me for the time I spent reading it.

You will surely smile, possibly laugh and certainly learn a little about how the World of Comedy turns. It is carefully constructed and cleverly presented, very much like the comedy of Mr Jones himself.

Above all, it's a highly enjoyable read - it might not make your top 10 of all time, but you will struggle to find anything negative to say about it. And even if you did think of something, the book is far too likeable for you… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy With confidence, 11 Dec 2013
It is always difficult to know whether something that you buy online will live up to expectations - well this one certainly will. The bauble was delivered well packaged, quickly and looked really good. It is heavier than you might expect, giving the impression of quality.

You also get a chance to personalise both sides and include up to 4 lines on the back. My wording was acknowledged quickly by the seller after I sent a message using the 'contact seller' button.

All in all, I am really happy with the purchase and I look forward to giving the happy couple a keepsake that will remind them of their special day each passing year.

The first chapter was insightful and thought-provoking, shedding new light for me on the way the top clubs think and what they can realistically achieve (an issue highlighted even more by the current RVP 'saga').

However, I have to say that the chapters that followed didn't seem to provide the same depth for me. They were certainly worth reading but didn't add as much to the events that they described.

I got to 74% through the book and found I'd reached the last day of the season. What would follow? And now here's the real negative. The last 25% of the book is just adverts for Nick… Read more
