The storyline carries on somewhat from the previous book, Past Midnight.
Bree is a very quiet solitary person, who doesn't mix well with others. She keeps her co-workers at arms length, goes to work to complete her work and does not get involved with office gossip or socialising. This is the 1st book I have read by Jasmine Haynes, bought after reading the review. I have since purchased the other books in the series!
Yes, the book is erotic but does keep a storyline - unlike other books in the same vein.
The book deals with the guilt, shame and blame a couple (and their extended family who are afraid to mention anything prior to the accident) have for each other following a tragedy, which was no one's fault.
Neither can speak to each other so the couple communicate through sex only, until a threat is made which means they have to become a team or lose!
Once I started reading was kept hooked until the end.

I have enjoyed reading LH's books for many years.
Some of which have been superb, most have been excellent.
But what has gone wrong! I struggled to even finish this book. As a previous reviewer said - I am not even sure LH has written or even read this book.
There was so much repetition, so much filler that is was difficult to feel the suspense which the book intends.
This will be the last book I buy. I paid £7.53 for this book via Amazon, it wasn't worth anywhere near this amount, if I read any more of LH it will be from the library.
