Roadpro 12V Slow Cooker - Black Roadpro

1.0 out of 5 stars Wrong, wrong, wrong., 7 July 2014
I don't really understand why people buy this. It draws around 100 watts, same as a standard kitchen slow cooker which is bigger and a third the price. With a decent 300 watt inverter a standard kitchen slow cooker will give you greater capacity and a much sturdier appliance than this Heath Robinson affair. Incidentally, a slow cooker should be used to cook food not to heat it as these reviewers seem to be doing. A slow cooker takes at least 2 hours to heat food to a temperature that will kill bacteria and should generally be used for no less than 4 hours, but usually 8 hours. Heating food in it for less tha 4 hours is asking for trouble.

I use this in a goretex bivi bag. it stops the goretex sticking to me and makes things a lot more comfortable. I can sleep in the open in a British autumn in comfort.

Great little device. Works on the same principle as a chastity belt. Flimsy keys though, best to get some more made just in case. Bear in mind, this is a standard size lock, if this doesn't fit your trailer no other lock will, your trailer is at fault.
