Guide to the Butterflies of Britain (Field Studies&hellip by John Bebbington
Bought this for a study, to be used by people unfamiliar with butterflies.

The guide folds down into a nice small size, and the laminated cover means it is waterproof, so great for throwing into the back of a bag and using in the field. The illustrations are beautiful and give good indication of the size of the butterflies in real life, aiding further in identification.

The back of the images give good, basic information on butterfly life cycles too. I'd recommend this if you're thinking about getting it, it's really handy to have - all the FSC guides of this range that I have (butterflies, mammal tracks, moorland plants) are fantastic.
A Quiet Belief In Angels by R. J. Ellory
A Quiet Belief In Angels by R. J. Ellory
I'm not keen on crime fiction, but then I've never read one as beautifully written as this book.

It's captivating from the first page and very hard to put down - the pace builds slowly, the characters are instantly likeable and the pictures created by the author are vivid. I finished this book a couple of months ago, and I'm still thinking about this story, it certainly sticks with you. Ignoring the plot completely, it's simply a lovely read because of the fluid writing style.

If you want an intelligent, easy to follow, beautifully written and vivid book then I'd highly recommend this - I can't wait to read more of R.J. Ellory's work.
Gelert Dolomite 2 Tent - Green/Black Gelert

I was very hesitant when I first bought this tent, as it seemed much cheaper than others by the same company so I assumed this was because it was either second rate or had some fault with it. I decided on a two person tent rather than a one person tent, just because I wanted to be able to keep all my bags and gear inside the tent with me once set up.

Once I set it up, I was thrilled with it - it's very waterproof (not leaking even when blasted with a hose), spacious and airy for a two person tent. The porch is excellent, and there is… Read more
