Silas Marner : 2 cassette audio book : Talking Cl&hellip by George Eliot

I particularly needed to buy cassettes. I searched on Amazon and found 'Silas Marner' as a cassette which I paid a very high price for.

When it arrived it was a CD. I tried phoning the supplier but they didn't want to know so I'm stuck with a product I can't use.

I have had to give a star rating in order to send the review,I have given 1 but would prefer to give minus 10.
Churchill: The Greatest Briton Unmasked by Nigel Knight

Not another book about Churchill!!! But this one takes an entirely different slant and is very well researched. Nigel Knight, is a Cambridge economist and argues cogently that Churchill's economic policies, both before and after the First World War, weakened the British economy, causing unemployment and so deepened the effects of the Depression of the 1930s. Great for those economics essays!

5.0 out of 5 stars My gallery companion, 15 Nov 2006
This gem of a book an ideal companion when walking round galleries. It is everything one would look for in such a companion - lucid, witty, provocative and thoughtful. Robert Cumming has a unique ability to relate art, its artists and its subjects to the real world.
