5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely one to read, 27 May 2014
It is a mistake to suppose that you have to agree with an authorís opinions to find the book worth reading! Rather, a work like this should make one question both oneís own and the authorís opinions. This one should be required reading for all bankers, all investors, and all politicians - as should be Margaret Reidís The Secondary Banking Crisis 1973-5 - and indeed all ought to be able to recite the first three pages of Chapter 10, whatever they may think of the way Tim Geithner tackled his extraordinary tasks. The book is also a very good read for anyone interested in the ways the world works and politicians are prone to behave.

1.0 out of 5 stars Wasted my money, 21 Dec 2013
I have had much the same experience as other 1-star reviewers: mine worked on about 6 occasions and then failed altogether. New batteries have shown this was not a battery problem. It is really bad that so many people who have bought this product have been sent something so shoddy.

Like Ronaldo, I had the vinyl edition, and am thrilled to have come back to this wonderful performance by Isaac Stern, whose joyful music-making opened my ears when I heard him in live performance. I simply add to what Ronaldo has said that the codas to both first movement and rondo are perfect examples of how to make a movement sound complete; the exuberant end of the latter should leave any listener on a high.
