Killer of Bulls, Juan Belmonte - The Autobiography&hellip by Juan Belmonte
The book left me with the strangest feeling that perhaps Belmonte's story could be told better by somebody else. The impact that he had on bullfighting is almost glossed over. His countless terrible injuries are almost ignored. This is most likely due to the mans modesty. "Belmonte" is a story yet to be told. He richly deserves a book with the qualities of "Or I'll Dress You In Mourning", "The Dangerous Summer" or, from more recent times, "Death And The Sun" or "Into The Arena".
