After watching a documentary on TV, I decided to read the book on which the documentary was based. I think the author (Judith M Heimann) created a lucid, accurate account of the events and I enjoyed reading the book, from page 1.

I believe the story does not go overly in depth into too much detail, but keeps the story flowing and interesting making it an easy & ejoyable read.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys history and world war topics.

One of my favourite books for 2010, which I found difficult to put down.

A gripping tale of ordinary soldiers "holding down the fort" when peaceful times turned into full-blown war. An honest and accurate account of the soldiers who over many weeks had to deal with the stresses, emotions and continuous attackes from the opposition.

Well written, lucid and entertaining.

If you expecting censored and timid, then this is not for you. This is a young boisterous Eddie holding nothing back with raw explicit humour.

Although Eddie is not known for his stand-up comedy - this is a great show where a young Eddie in tight leathers brings down the house with his many experiences as a youngster growing up, woman and family relations.

A well worth watch to anyone who is not easily offended by comedian banter...
