Essentially an unplugged is a fantastic body of work here made even better through simplicity. A very stripped down approach but beautifully done and his voice just seems to get better and better. As for the playing...well it's not just the notes, it's the spaces he leaves and the touch is just beautiful. Some really fine song writing here with some real bite. There is some really tender material here and others that still make me wince after many, many listenings. "That's why I love mankind" and "Rednecks" spring to mind. ....

Definitely one of those albums for headphones or a quiet time with absolutely no interruption- these pieces reward careful listening. The Benjamin Britten and Spiegel im Spiegel pieces are absolutely mesmerising.

An album to listen to carefully and without prejudice.

Tremendous value for the mp3 download and I wonder what the Cd would sound like through top… Read more

Slightly oversized strap as expected but not heavy and was comfortable straight out of the box. Not an over sized watch though and I imagine would be fine for most wearers.

The watch quality in terms of the steel, machining, bezel and overall detailing is just outstanding. TImekeeping will have to be tested over a longer period but initial impressions

Setting date and time was absolute childs play and the lume is already very impressive after just a few hours of natural daylight. As reported by other reviewers, the colour is more modest than might be expected but I'm actually pretty happy with that.

Overall, it seems like an absolutely astonishing… Read more
