What if........ Imagine a world were Pittsburgh was wiped out by a suitcase nuke? Imagine a world were you connected to the inter-web in your head? Imagine a world were you could view everyones life via their online presence? Dominic Blaxton has all of this and more. He is a researcher for a company specialising in settling insurance claims for the deceased. He becomes obsessed with what appears to be a murder, researching to to the point of losing perspective. Drug addiction and a sense of grief over the loss of his wife dominate a once brilliant poets mind to the despair of those around. One pill too many and he loses hos job and is rescued by a saviour. What if the new foreign secretary was born in the UK of ex German stock? What if there was a file on them? What if a disgruntled Intelligence Service employee 'lost' the file and a newspaper got hold of it? Whilst no great revelations are to be had the fact of it's existence is enough to cause panic at the highest levels. A low key novel, with a look into the machinations of politics and the media in the UK, a three hander, the story unravels from the loss of a laptop, to the fall of some of the highest in the land… Read more
