This mouse works as described and you can customise the function of the two side buttons and mouse wheel, which is why is doesn't get two stars.

I find it too small, too light and fiddly to use the buttons. I'm constantly having to fidget if I want to left click and then scroll: I can't keep my hand position stationary to use the mouse properly. I find this annoying.

Visually it's OK - not going to win any style contest, but won't pick up the wooden spoon either.

This is not the mouse for me and it won't work straight out of the box, so it's not even much use as a back up.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ticks all the boxes, 22 Jun 2009

I'm rather fond of this mouse. Ergonomics are entirely subjective, but they work well for me. It suits my large hands and the buttons are where I want them to be. Unlike the gaming mouse (see my full list of reviews) from the same family the buttons aren't too sensitive either - look at the gaming mouse buttons too hard and you've clicked one. It is substantial: weighing in at slightly over 150g according to my digital kitchen scales, but a third of that is battery weight.

The good points:
Ergonomic design with soft feel grips (the black bits on the side in the pic) makes for comfortable usage. I have used this for two days of strategy gaming without any aching… Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars I gave up, 18 Jun 2009
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
The plot is stupid. I was going to use longer words, but that sums it up. Some of the human parts are OK, but the part where you are meant to believe in a society existing in sub-atomic particles made me want to hit the bottle. And don't get me started about the utterly infantile preoccupation with the letter z.

So, I gave up. There's only one other novel I have ever done this with and I have read hundreds.

Oh, it's very pretty. But I wanted to read a book, not view a catalogue for an art exhibition.
