Having spent quite a lot of money over the years trying, and failing, to get a CD of decent sound quality of Elvis' late 50's work, I didn't have any great expectations of this. Certainly not that it could live up to its rather presumptuous title, and especially as it's put out by an independent label I've never heard of. But it turns out it leaves everything else standing.
The big selling point the Amazon blurb gives you is that this has undergone minimal sound processing. I did wonder if this was just a way of getting rough sound past the Trade Descriptions Act, but the sound certainly isn't rough.
