In My Own Words:
I read so many books I've decided it's about time I review some of them. I won't write a review for a book I didn't enjoy (ie 1 or 2 stars) because it's only my opinion and nobody intentionally writes a book that stinks. However, if I feel let down by an over-hyped book then perhaps I'll change my mind - we'll see!

Books I particulary enjoy reading are thrillers, suspense and the supernatural, and I'll even admit to liking them laced with romance (yeah, I'm a girly at heart, though I prefer edgy to soppy and I loathe tacky covers and what I perceive as drivel).… Read more

I adore this. So subtle. It really gives the reader space to draw their own conclusions. Just little changes like an eye movement or a change in direction say so much and everything makes me smile. The humour is dry and restrained. Attractive illustration too, in muted colours that work without looking too arty. This was recommended to me because a child adored it. A child with great taste!

I've just been checking calendars and the reason I'm purchasing this Rothko calendar, rather than another Rothko calendar, is because it starts on Monday. I much prefer that layout and this year I was muddled by my calendar that started the week on Sunday.
