This phone is a good phone overall, with excellent display, camera and form factor. I also really like the LG UI, which is the only propriety interface that is better than the stock Android one. Samsung and Sony are both awful in this respect. The reason for docking a star is that the battery life really sucks, even though I never use full brightness, sticking to the auto-brightness setting and turning off autosync etc. It is far worse than the Sony Z1 my previous phone. I also find that there are some inexplicable lags in the UI, for example, when returning to the home screen after running an app, you can be staring at nothing for a few seconds before it suddenly comes to life. When I bought this it was being sold on Amazon for 1p, yes 1 penny! OK so the postage was £3.50 or so. I wanted a temporary cheap cover for my pristine LG G3 until the Quick Circle case becomes available and was not expecting much. However, to my surprise it is actually a very good case. It provides excellent protection, as the dark rubber side bumper covers the entire edge of the phone (apart from cutouts in all the right places for charger etc) and is raised slightly which enables you to put the phone down on a surface without the screen coming into contact with it.
