Complete Fairy Tales for Solo Piano (Dover Music f&hellip by Nikolai Medtner
Medtner's Skaski (often translated as Fairy Tales) are unduly neglected wonderful pieces of music. Most of them are still available separately, but are quite expensive. This collection is superb. The books hold well and the quality of the paper and binding is satisfactory. I see no reason why one should spend more money and buy other editions.

I also found the love story between the two main characters a bit unmoving, and preferred it if they did not sleep together.

I was particularly disappointed about… Read more
