These herbes de provence were well packed, arrived quickly, tasted just as they should. Good value. We would recommend buying spices in bulk this way.

I watched this as a kid and recalled being enthralled by the basic premise of such an all-encompassing deception, and by fine performances by all the lead actors. Re-watching, I still was enthralled, and was further impressed with the believable way in which the writers had inserted the highly fictional events into the actual history of D-Day. For example, they made use of the fact that the invasion was postponed by one day due to bad weather. Little details like the name of the D-Day deception operation - "Fortitude" - are slipped in casually, without explanation, but show the writers had done their homework.

This is a short, tersely written book about common misconceptions about force. If you are reading it at all you are probably better at physics than most people, but you would have to be very good indeed to come away from this book without having winced at seeing your own misunderstandings uncovered. The problems in Chapter 5 are particularly revealing.

In Appendix 5, with a touch of schadenfreude, the author quotes numerous best-selling textbooks getting it wrong about kinematics, gravity, Newton's laws and related subjects.
