I'm a NOW collector and I don't want to write bad reviews about NOW spin off products but with "Now Love" there is very little choice. I actually have a "Now Love Songs" released in the 90's and it actually features a decent range of love songs and ballads, they weren't afraid to go back to the 80's to get some classic power ballads to feature, this album is a great excuse to feature "Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You" "Up Where We Belong" "Everything I Do, I Do It For You" "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" etc alongside any classic songs from the current millennium, but despite featuring some of these songs on their… Read more
I'm a fan of the regular NOW series and I collect them so all these spin off albums nag at me somewhat for me to collect them also, but so far in most cases I have resisted because whilst we know what the regular NOWs are all about, an anthology of the latest season in chart music, these spin-offs have often been cheap cash ins that sometimes bother to have little to do with the actual theme being presented to you. We say it about a lot of songs, but this song really does deserve mainstream success for having such a poignant message about Christmas. It tells us to think about the people for whom Christmas is usually a hard time and although it's a contrasting message to many of the big Christmas songs that we hear over and over again, it nevertheless sits comfortably amongst them as a christmas classic. A lot of the relatively few people who have discovered this say it becomes a must for them to play all through December, download this and I dare say you will become one of them.
