However if you want a travel guide from a bloke so far out of his comfort zone then this is the book to read, laugh out loud to and often shake your head in disbelief.

I picked up this book by chance whilst having a look around the West ham club shop at Lakeside. Thankfully it turned out to be a superb read and summed up what it is like to follow a club that doesn't win trophies every season.

I not even a West ham fan (I follow Gillingham FC) but Robert's story and life stuck a cord with me. I really enjoyed how Robert combined his life story and the joys and pain of following West ham together to make this book. The book flows well from start to finish and each chapter provides many a funny/sad moment that if you follow a football team you will know all too well.
