After eagerly awaiting a decent cricket game, I got this game on release date from Amazon. I opened the game and put it in my PS3. I have to be honest and say that I was disappointed. I was expecting to be hitting fours and sixes “off the bat”, but no, I found it really frustrating! I found the batting really difficult and was ready to return to the much easier ‘International Cricket’. I even considered putting the game straight on ebay, but decided to stick with it. I tried the bowling which, surprisingly, was really enjoyable. I persevered with the batting and began to get the hang of it. I was looking for a book to take away on holiday with me as something to read on the beach. I decided on this book as it is based in East Anglia, where I now live, and reading the blurb it seemed to be about football, which I enjoy. So there we were on holiday, the wife and kids were down by the sea and I settled down to read the book. I have to say that the time flew by as I could not put this book down. It is a very easy book to read. The two main characters are both three dimensional and their characters evolve as the book progresses.
