I bought this as a toy for my 8 year old grandson. I totally agree with the reviews I read on line that this is a great little bit of kit. It is exceptionally powerful & the LED bulb gives amazing clarity. Much better than a toy and almost as good as a professional microscope for most things whilst being simple to use.
If my grandson doesn't like it I will be happy to keep it myself. For this price, every school pupil should be lent one to use during biology lessons. This would make it so much more interesting for the kids.

Nicely engineered and look like the will last for years. Good value too. Much better than my old ones which I am replacing.
Gardman Max/Min Thermometer Beige by Gardman
Not very well made at all but decided ok to try. This thermometer eventually jammed up and later fell apart after only a few months. Not good value for money. Although cheap it should still last better than that. Suggest you pay a bit more and find something that works, preferably from a garden store where you can judge the quality at first hand. This one looks good in the ad but was really only junk.
