We were looking forward to watching this, having seen Mr Izzard in 'The Riches'. However, we gave up watching after 2 hours. Really disappointing, Eddie poor choice of accent for Long John, who'd have thought he was related to the Mary Poppins version of Dick Van Dyke? Must try harrrrrrrrrderrrrr me hearrrrrteeeeeeeeezz ooh aar, Jim lad. Don't buy this, its crap.

I purchased this expecting a funny book. Well, in that respect, I was very wrong, BigAl has laid his soul bare in this title, warts and all! Alan, my heart bleeds, when JW's knock at my door, I don't give them the time of day, I simply state that from their point of view, as I am a blood donor, I'm probably already beyond saving, and am going to Hell.

Before reading this book the only thing I knew about Mormons, was that Donny Osmond was one! I also thought they wore funny clothes but I was getting them mixed up with the Amish people in America. This is a very uplifting book, full of interesting anecdotes, great to read for a few minutes at lunch-time, can't wait for Al's next… Read more
I Shall Wear Midnight: (Discworld Novel 38) (Discw&hellip by Terry Pratchett

Well, when Terry announced (seems like ages ago now) his illness, I was really worried about it affecting the quality of his work. I need have no fear, this book is just as amazing as all his other titles. And... he seems to be more prolific at the moment. I love his witch series and alos his 'children's" series of books, this combines the two so for me it was a bonus. Keep up the good work, Terry!
