VEO Black Ultra Slim Full Body Smart Case Cover fo&hellip by JAMMYLIZARD
Fits really well, folds back to incline the iPad at an angle, closes with a satisfying magnetic action. Pleasing to the touch and it stops it sliding about on your lap. Very pleased.

I bought a £10 cover before this which didn't fit nearly as well. Wish I'd bought this to start with.
Caliban's War: Book 2 of the Expanse by James S. A. Corey
So - we have weird alien artefacts, warring factions in the solar system and an obstinate spacer and his motley crew in a stolen ship in the middle of it all trying to stop the end of the world.

The heroes are likeable and self-deprecating and the villains pleasingly..well...villainous.

I've read all three in the series and it's up there with Alastair Reynolds, and a bit better than Neal Asher and Gary Gibson if you know those authors. Highly recommended.
How a Gunman Says Goodbye: The Glasgow Trilogy Boo&hellip by Malcolm Mackay
The second in the series (the first was "The Necessary Death if Lewis Winter") and we are back in Glasgow with assorted gangsters gunmen and cops. It is really tightly plotted and nothing drags - the outcome is never obvious and the analysis of the psychology and methods of the various gangland characters is gripping.

I didn't find it quite as good as the first book - this is often the case in a trilogy - but it's very highly recommended if you like Ian Rankin or Denise Mina - or simply terrific plotting and writing.

Part 3 is on my "must buy" list.
