I have read this book with a couple of perspectives. Firstly, as a nervous networker who appreciates the really clear and simple language and common sense advice. Secondly as someone who writes an awful lot of persuasive copy for a living. I found the material to give a refreshing perspective in an area that's been well covered elsewhere, but not as concisely and uniquely as in the AFTERS. I suspect it is deliberate, but alot of the analogies are deliberately written in a way that can be recalled quickly and applied - for example, you're about to go to a networking event.
