I first watched Into the West when it was shown on BBC2 in 2011. A good yarn but patronising to the native peoples - like "Dances with Wolves" only more so. Great collection but it's a shame they didn't put the 16 tracks of the original 1984 album on disc 1 with additional tracks on disc 2.
Tracks on the vinyl AH which are not in this set:
+ Toto -- Africa
+ Journey -- Who's Crying Now
+ Survivor -- Eye of the Tiger
+ Split Enz -- I Got You
+ Wang Chung -- Dance Hall Days

-- Air Supply -- Asia -- Bad Company -- Foreigner -- Whitesnake -- Yes --
-- Santana (Mexico) -- B.T.O.(Canada) --

Bill is hilarious but £52.95 to £69.95? What gives? Has this set gone out of print? HMV is knocking them out for £20 right now (Dec 07). They also have Black Books for £15 - Bill is great in that, too. No, I don't work for HMV; I just don't like OTT prices.
