I have used both this book and the Seriously Good! Gluten-Free Cooking book. I think the recipes are fantastic and use these 2 books for all my gluten free cooking. I do agree that the hazlenut cookies had a wet ingredient missing - a disapointment in an otherwise super book.
My top tip is you can substitute Phil's flour mixes with Doves Farm ready mixed blends available from the supermarket. You can buy; Doves Farm gluten and wheat free plain white flour blend 1Kg, Doves Farm gluten and wheat free self-raising white flour blend 1Kg, as well as bread flour blends. The results I have got from these are great and it saves me time and money too. Hope you find the same.
