It's so great to be able to listen to the music in an epic movie! Michael Giacchino's score is romantic, evocative. It tells us about adventure, sadness, love....a journey to Barsoom, or Mars. The 2nd track "Get Carter" still gives me goosebumps. The 8th one makes me remember Dejah Thoris' words "You are John Carter of Earth!"

If you love movie soundtracks this is by far one of the BESTS of this year....we are still in April and it's too soon to be final. If you haven't seen the movie, you loved Julio Verne, you want to know where did James Cameron and George Lucas take their ideas from, why Carl Sagan had a Barsoom map in his office and a Barsoom drive plate.....come to Mars,… Read more

It's really entertaining, you care for the characters, the creatures, animation are perfect but they feel real and Lynn Collins and Taylor Kitsch have great chemistry together. A must-see for all the family!
Do you want....adventure? Done! Romance? Done! Action? Done! Awesome effects? Done too! It is really a pleasure and it deserves a fair chance from Science Fiction fans and from all those who loved Star Wars, Stargate, Buck Rogers, even Dune.
Critics said we've seen the story before...in Star Wars, in Avatar. Guess what? ERB was first and Stanton chose to adapt the original rather than just "borrowing"

5.0 out of 5 stars a must see, 6 Jun 2010
I was a kid when the series was aired and I recently got to see both WoW and WaR. The series hasn't aged much in all these years and I enjoyed it a lot. I wasn't too fond of Ally McGraw and Jan-Michael Vincent. I found bouth of them aged comparing to the lovely Victoria Tennant...I also had a bit of trouble relating to the characters so I'm deeply biased. I watched both series one immediately after the other and it was weird to get used to new faces for old characters.... Robert Mitchum had an enormous pressence onscreen, Topol was great too, and I admire deeply the scope of the project. WWII was HUGE and I haven't found any other movie or tv show with such broad scope. I'll read the books… Read more
