Originally I hoped that IMPACT would help me prepare better sales proposals. What I discovered was a book that helped me improve the way I communicated results and ideas. Certainly a book that should be on the curriculum for those involved in writing business reports and papers.

If you are in a position where you need to influence and persuade others then this book is a must read. Customer service representatives can learn how to improve their service levels. Marketers receive guidance on how to better craft outbound communications. Sales reps learn how to negotiate.

The book contains practical guidance, examples and tips on things you can do to persuade others. Each of the book's chapters flows naturally between subjects and includes easy mnemonics for the reader to learn.

Jack shoots from the hip, telling it how it is and letting you know that the ride isn't going to be easy. But it's not all doom and gloom in How to Build a Business and Sell it for Millions as Jack shares practical advice and success stories of those who have worked hard and are now living the dream.
