A wonderful, honest account of depression, the impact on his family and how Mark will live with his "thing" for the rest of his life. From the opening chapter of his 40th birthday party "Woodstock meets the Gosport ferry", the reader feels his anxiety as he draws you in to his slow realisation that something is wrong. He tries to understand why it should happen to him with his wonderful childhood (including a fantastic description of growing up in the 70s) and having achieved everything he could want with a fabulous wife, 3 healthy kids and his dream job.
