This is a great album to chill out to and has some close similarities with FSOL classic lifeforms album. A collection of tracks which have been put together with a high degree of skill by combining synth's and samples it sounds almost flowing. This isn't for you if you want the aggressive sound of skinny puppy et al. Although you can hear some similarities with the densly programmed tracks. Great album with excellent percussion and well programmes synths.

Bile have been around for quite a few years now and have always made challenging albums whose influence outweighs their sales! The trademark bile sound is here which is loud buzzsaw guitars, distorted synths and distorted vocals which enjoys a great mix with all layers of music appearing just when ther should. Some tracks are more noise than music, yet others are very catchy with a slight M. Manson influence, quite an electro/glam/goth feel. If you enjoy NIN, KMFDM or ministry i am sure that you will enjoy this. Particular highlights are prime time loser, legion and bad karma

To get the most of it you need a good hifi and a fair bit of volume as most notes are opperating in the very low frequencies with minor variations throughtout. To the untrained ear it sounds like just a constant hum, but there are many permitations to it. Very very few vocals and the bpm for the tracks is probably about 5, if that! more an experiment in abstract music than proper tracks. But if you want to broaden your horizons and here new and different stuff this could be… Read more
