City of Bones (Mortal Instruments) by Cassandra Clare
I LOVE Cassandra Clare's work. I think the Mortal Instruments series is AMAZING and I can't say one bad thing about them AND the prequel series the Infernal Devices. If I could live in a book I would pick the world of the Nephilim! This is my all time favourite series and I can't say enough good things about it just go and read it! I believe it will become the next big thing, rivalling the twilight saga, the hunger games trilogy, and even Harry Potter... that's right, I went there!

I am a big fan of the Uglies series and Specials did not disappoint. This action packed, fast paced book kept me entertained all the way through and I finished it in one sitting. If you haven't read the previous two books, Uglies and Pretties go and check them out before reading Specials.

Tally is utterly relatable, trying to find her place in the twisted society eerily like our own. When at the age of 16 you receive an operation (plastic surgery) to make you pretty. At the end of pretties you discover that Tally is going to be turned into a Special. Specials is full of action, hoverboarding, living in the wild... ect and it is FANTASTIC!

That being said the story will… Read more
