McAfee Internet Security  2014 - 1 User - 1 Year (&hellip by McAfee
4.0 out of 5 stars Good Protection, 22 April 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
As a loyal Norton customer, I recently left them to try out other offerings from lesser known companies. Whilst they aren't terrible, they don't offer the peace of mind that the larger firms do so I decided to give McAfee a go. It has been a long time since I used a proper McAfee product as in recent years I have only used the trial, free versions sent out on new laptops etc.
Installation was a breeze which came as a relief considering the trouble I had with another piece of software from a rival small firm a few months back.

McAfee AntiVirus Plus 2014 - 1 User - 1 Year (PC) by McAfee
4.0 out of 5 stars Better safe than sorry, 22 April 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I am usually a Norton customer but have recently tried some other providers and found them lacking that certain something. I decided to give McAfee another go - it having been a while since I last used their software.
I was pleased with the ease of installation (after a nightmare with a German competitor's software) and with the clean, easy to navigate layout.
Whilst this software doesn't offer you anything new, it does offer peace of mind that the smaller, lesser known firms are lacking.
Zyxel WAP3205V2 Wireless N Access Point by ZYXEL
2.0 out of 5 stars A bit of a faff, 22 April 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I am connected to Virgin Media and as such have an IP address which does not fall into the 'acceptable' band detailed by Zyxel. As I didn't want to mess about with my settings and risk knocking my internet off completely, I decided to connect using a Powerline adaptor which is not ideal as it cuts speeds. I eventually just relocated my current modem and found that that simple measure has extended its range without the need to use an extender or access point.
If you are on an ordinary network provider then this will probably work better for you than for me. It is a nice design and provides a number of setup options for you dependant on your needs but just wasn't best suited to mine.
