Though the book is quite instructive, I feel it covers a lot of old ground, particularly some topics covered in Dale Carnegie's work.
Indeed, one of the chapters is a rip-off of one of Dale's books, (How To Stop Worrying and Start Living 'Again').
Gaining freedom is one of the themes in the book; from one's own self-imposed limitations, for example fears of others' thoughts, 'It's too late', being a 'slave to security', 'past mistakes' and being a slave to the environment.
There's a nod to his other book, in the chapter about Thinking Big.
The closing chapters look at how our thoughts act as a filter to how we 'see' life.
