5.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Book, 5 Jan 2011
George's writing is fantastic, heartfelt, and full of knowledge and experience. When reading this book, it felt like I was sitting down with the author and sharing a pint whilst chatting about badgers. The book is full of anecdotes through which the reader gains an insight into the peculiarities of badger behaviour. Its writing isn't scientific but the facts are rooted in observation and with chapters on biology, setts, rescue, consultancy / legislation, watching and the challenges of mitigating the potential conflicts with developers there is a little bit of everything within this book. I'm sure anybody wanting to know more about badgers will find it a joy to read.
