Seven Sons (Gypsy Brothers Book 1) by Lili St Germain
5.0 out of 5 stars Graphic and gritty, 7 May 2014
This is not really my sort of book but having seen the reviews (and because it was free) I downloaded it. I am glad I did as it was very compelling and I could not put it down. It is incredibly graphic, violent and disturbing so it is not for the faint hearted. The story is just so compelling. You really want Jules to get her revenge on the gang of bikers who savagely raped her as a teenager. Her plans to murder them and let them know who she is at the moment of their death is brilliant. I wanted each of them to suffer a painful death! The fact that she gets access to the gang by having a sexual relationship with the gang leader and father of the gang members is hard to read, but… Read more

I absolutely loved the first book in this series "The Unwanted Wife" so was eagerly awaiting this book. I was an enjoyable read but lacked the heart wrenching angst the first book had. Gabe is horrid to his wife Bronwyn when he finds her again after she ran away following his angry rejection of the news that she was pregnant. He takes advantage of her ill health to move her and his daughter back into the family home. He is unjustly angry with his wife and says some really horrible things to her. He will not believe her explanation about what happened after she left. Ultimately the truth comes out and he tries to make amends. I like the fact that the heroine really pulls him up about… Read more
The Governess Affair (The Brothers Sinister) by Courtney Milan
5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific read, 5 Mar 2014
I loved this story. The heroine Serena was resolute and brave in challenging the evil Duke who had forced himself upon her and left her homeless, unemployed and pregnant. She wanted recognition and compensation for her child and was determined to wait each day outside his house until she got it. The hero Hugo is the Dukes "fixer" and it is his job to get rid of Serena. Instead he gradually falls in love with her. Their story is so charming and the bedroom scene is incredibly romantic. I loved both characters this is an excellent short read, I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
