Verbatim 52115 Classic A B22 10 Watt LED Bulb - Wa&hellip by Verbatim

Finding a reasonable replacement for the old 60 watt lightbulb is not easy. To achieve this you need a light output of around 800 lumens in new money. I saw this particular LED bulb in the Which Magazine where it got a glowing review, pun intended, so I ordered one from Maplins via Amazon. It arrived VERY promptly. The bulb itself is very sturdy and appeared to be very well made. I plugged it in and was immediately impressed with the lighr output and the lovely warm light. I am still very impressed and plan to equip the house with more as soon as money allows. It is not particularly cheap but considering how long it should last is actually very good value. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars A chunky lens, 23 Jan 2013
I wanted a quality 'do it all' lens for my Nikon D600 and thats what I got, well nearly. To start with the lens is satisfyingly heavy and feels really well made. All the rings and switches ooze quality just like a Rolls Royce in their peak. With so much glass at the front I got a quality uv filter to protect it. Buying a new filter which has given it's life to protect the lens it is on is always cost effective. I have now had it a few weeks and the images from the D600 with this lens are excellent. When I said in the first paragraph, well nearly, it does not quite do it all. There are times when I need more telephoto power for wildlife etc so will buy a zoom telephoto to go with this… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars So tiny., 23 Jan 2013
This really only has one function but it does it perfectly. I can now see the picture to be taken on my Samsung Galaxy 111 phone and fire the shutter of my Nikon D600 from a distance with no wires. This is exactly what I wanted. The unit is so, so small but has a tether to attach it to the camera strap and a protective case which also fits on the camera strap. Excellent design and really simple to set up. It would have been nice to control more of the basic camera functions from the phone but I knew it didn't when I bought it so no problem. Hopefully the app will be expanded to do more. In the meantime I have to give it 5 stars as it does what it says on the tin and does it beautifully.
