Summerslam 1998 (One of my favourite PPVs ever!):

D'Lo Brown vs Val Venis - European title match which was given a lot of time with some bits very dire and some parts gripping wrestling. A bit of a lame-duck finish, but a good way to kick off a Summerslam. It could have been A LOT WORSE (note: every match but the 1st match at December to Dismember) 6/10

The Oddities vs Kai-en-tai - Growing up this was one of my favourite matches to watch because it is pure comedy gold. Still find it roflmao to this day. I'm gonna give it 9/10 because I still love it.

Jeff Jarrett vs X PAC - Eh, Howard Finkel as a member of DX......otherwise not bad at all. They were both… Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Hype, Poor PPV, 18 Dec 2006
Carlito vs Chris Masters - 7.5/10

~ Second best match of the night. Good paced, good action, decent match.

Umaga vs Ric Flair - 2/10

~ Rubbish.

WWE Women's Championship:

Trish Stratus vs Mickie James (c) - 4/10

~ Could've been a classic like at Mania22, but Trish breaks her arm and the match cuts short. I was left annoyed by no decent end, but Mickie rocks!

WWE Intercontinental Championship vs Money In The Bank:

Rob Van Dam (MITB) vs Shelton Benjamin (c) - 5/10

~ This match was boring. Nothing I had seen before. Way too long.

Kane vs Big Show ~ 2/10

~ Only good parts is… Read more

The best RAW PPV since Vengeance 2005 (all the good RAW PPV's have Hell in a Cell. Amazing, isn't it?). Although this isn't the best PPV of 2006, with my personal favourite being No Way Out, this was an awesome event. Here's the lowdown (Sorry if I do give results away on purpose):

WWE Intercontinental Championship:

Johnny Nitro (c) vs Jeff Hardy

- Well this was meant to be Hardy's night. The insane comeback led to a rather tedious, near 20mins match which had an awful finish. I expected maybe much more, and since the rivalry is still going strong, maybe we will. This match though started out as a good opener but dragged on a bit and in the end I personally… Read more
