The Crippled God: The Malazan Book of the Fallen 1&hellip by Steven Erikson

It's hard to know how to summarise this book. A few words spring to mind: epic, enthralling and emotional. Personally I loved the whole book, from start-to-finish it paced well and there were so many great moments. It was a fitting end to the Malazan Book of the Fallen and if you've loved the books upto this point then you'll almost certainly love this one. If you've had major problems with the other books then it's still worth a long and considered look. I would recommend this series (and book) to anyone with an interest in fantasy.

This needs to the benchmark of quality for this type of game, it's really that good… Read more

'Homeric in scope and vision...read and expect to be overpowered, not only by a story that never fails to thrill and entertain, but by a saga that lives upto its name, both intellectually and in its dramatic, visually rich and lavish storytelling'

Memories of Ice is the third installment in Steven Erikson's highly acclaimed fantasy trilogy 'The Malazan Book of the Fallen', MoI (the abbreviation) has long been hailed by most critiques and fans as the best in the… Read more
