The Adventures of Alianore Audley: The Chronicle o&hellip by Mr Brian Wainwright
5.0 out of 5 stars History can be fun.., 20 April 2014
I loved this book;it combines a sound knowledge of the period (Wars of the Roses and reign of Richard lll) with a lively style of writing.
The narrator is Alianore Audley,a spy in Edward IV's intelligence service, and she manages to fall in and out of trouble on a regular basis. Her opinions of the various historical characters are very funny, and give a whole new perspective on the latter part of the 15thCentury:) If you know your history, you'll definitely enjoy this lively romp ...

What really happened to the Princes in the Tower? This story explores that mystery, and puts forward an interesting theory about who was responsible, and why. Yes,it is an 'adult' story, but the erotic passages are tastefully written and work to advance the plot. The characters are well-rounded and believable, and the author obviously knows their history. Recommended for all those readers who like a good plot along with their erotica:)
The only complaint I have is that I found this story too short..any chance of a sequel?

I received a copy of this story in return for a fair & impartial review
The Winter Witch and the Krampus: A Christmas Tale by J.P. Reedman
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Seasonal Tale, 24 Dec 2013
This is a wonderful tale of a witch,a Krampus and a child who is not what he seems. Lively prose with great imagery makes it suitable for both kids and adults. If you like the works of Tanith Lee and the films of Tim Burton, this one's for you. It's a good counterbalance to all the sickly fluff that floats around this time of year..
Read,and enjoy!
