5.0 out of 5 stars A Pageturner, 6 Jun 2013
Can you write a suspense novel that is also a comedy without ending up with something crass? If you are Richard Cheesmar you obviously can. Mad-bad Spinning Top is exciting and funny at the same time and you keep turning the pages to see what comes next. Top of its genre and would make a brilliant movie about the typical anti-hero and his fictive alter-ego.
City of Fortune: How Venice Won and Lost a Naval E&hellip by Roger Crowley

4.0 out of 5 stars Roger Rules, 5 Feb 2013
Roger Crowley is the undisputed king of contemporary history writting. His story-telling style is unsurpassed and he drags you into history as if it was a story. This particular book is, however, a bit over focused on the fourth crusade and fizzles out a little towards the end.
Romanian Castles (A journey in history) by Boiti Marius
2.0 out of 5 stars Second Rate, 5 Feb 2013
A second rate, badly put together and and thin on content book on romanian castles. Not worth your time or money.
