Rewotower ~ Profusion
Rewotower ~ Profusion
Profusion are an Italian quintet that refuse to remain in a box but explore other musical territory blowing the doors off boundaries that are usually inherent with prog metal. They are not afraid to explore new ideas, and seem to be focussed on blending genres, rather than to stay with the familiar. The album "RewoToweR" is a concept album that relies heavily on personal interpretation but overall is an allegory to climbing to greater heights in life. Within the spectrum of conceptual ideas are some poignant lyrics concentric on the steps that guide the listener into a tower and then the ascent becomes a descent as the album becomes full circle. If you really want a night of some downbeat viewing try 'Dancer in the Dark' with Bjork. It really is a powerful moving and very sad film. Bjork is a towering performer on this and surprisingly raw and real in her portrayal of Selma. The film is powerfully excruciatingly raw, Bjork putting on the most enigmatic role of her life as the Czech immigrant led into murder by extenuating circumstances. 3.0 out of 5 stars Love that robot!, 28 July 2012
Odd 80s film starring Farrah Fawcett who is cute, flashes a breast, and can't act, and her lover Kirk Douglas who is too old, flashes his buttocks, and can act. Hector the robot is a deranged formidable presence who gets the hots for Farrah and why not. This causes jealousy as owner Harvey Keitel also wants Farrah. Hector tries to seduce her but Kirk attempts to stop it. The robots owner Keitel is as deranged as Hector. It is an unfriendly square triangle of romance and mayhem as the robot takes on allcomers in order to win the affections of Farrah.

Nice film to kick back to and not bad effects overall. The music is terrific, and the scenes with Hector are ominous and at times… Read more
