I bought this on the strength of the one review in place and am very happy with my decision. The advice offered was very useful. It's a very simple piece of kit and comfortably holds the two shower curtains I have in place. If you have particularly heavy shower curtains it would be a very simple matter to put together an extra support to hang from the ceiling at the opposite end to the opening using a piece of piping and a bracket, or even a short/long length of chain, and it wouldn't detract from its looks (although you would have to hang the curtains to accommodate the change). As a "wannabe" felter I was looking for a book which would teach me the basics of feltmaking and yet offer enough advice, information and projects to be more than just a book for the first few bits. This is definitely the one. The basics are laid out very clearly and the presentation is excellent. It covers everything a beginner needs to know and takes you through to the more complicated stuff. Including information on the history of feltmaking, breeds of sheep and so on and so forth are all welcome additions. Take a bunch of blokes, all with various girlie problems, send them off to the village of a Moodley for a weekend of booze, bonding and - hopefully - bonking and then set the women on them. Not just any women, you understand, but a bunch of infected zombies. We're told, in an attempt to come up with some sort of explanation (which really doesn't matter anyway) that it's a virus.
