The Devil Shook My Hand - I've Been Shot, Stabbed &hellip by Micky Gluckstad
3.0 out of 5 stars Plagiarism / collusion, 28 Nov 2013
So much of this book is exactly the same as 'Wild Cats' by Danny Woollard. I know he and Gluckstad were mates and a lot of these situations happened to the pair of them but for the wording to be so similar is beyond coincidence.
The thing is that one of them is worth reading, especially at this Kindle price but I'm not sure I can choose between them as they are basically the same. Buy one, but don't waste your time and money on both........just read either one twice !
Locked Up In La Mesa by Steve Peterson
Locked Up In La Mesa by Steve Peterson
As the title says, a decent book but not the longest. A scary account of life in a lawless Mexican jail. More a series of short stories than anything else, which means you could dip in and out without losing track.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good, 26 Nov 2013
Having read John's previous book, the sting in the tail of this one never caught me - But it will others. A good book that details the frailties of everyone's golf games. As quick as you think you've got 'it' it's gone and when you think you'll never get one in the air again, 'it' comes back. Well worth a read.
