5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding!, 9 Oct 2005
Got a DC14 to replace an aging DC07 which the wife was bitterly complaining was not sucking properly.
Works well and my carpets have never been cleaner. The other plus point is that she now happily hoovers without moaning. Worth the money just for that!

1.0 out of 5 stars An average reader, 1 July 2005
I'm not affliated in any way shape or form to any of the armed forces. I'm just your average joe who is curious as to what happened in Operation Barras.
In that respect, I was very disappointed to find that most of the book is spent everything but the actual operation itself.
I found the book quite difficult to read and not at all entertaining.

4.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected, 1 July 2005
I must confess that I'm turning into a bit of a Dale Brown fan.
The plot revolves around Russia attacking America is one which I'm sure some will think is outdated. Certainly, my first thoughts were that this would be similar to Red Storm Rising.
I enjoyed this book a lot and is probably one of my favourites from the author. Its been a while since I've stayed up half the night reading, just to see what happens next!
My only criticism and the reason I have not given it a 5 star rating is that I found the ending to be disappointing and somewhat unimaginative. I don't want to say more in case I ruin it for others. Overall though it is a good book.
