This feels more like an extended advertorial than a book in its own right. It could certainly use some editing.

There are sensible bits of advice between the self promotion, but I felt I was being continually sold to rather than informed. Not my cup of tea, I'm afraid.

Although this could do with the attention of a good editor, Dolenc's book covers a surprising range of scientific characters and stories. I came for the maths, but stayed for the stuff I don't know so much about, the biology, the psychology, the history. Good stories, well told, worth a read!
