Does just what I wanted it for. Worked first time, without any complication. Really useful for moving pictures from a camera to the IPad mini.

I loved 'The Shadow of the Wind', and I thought 'The Angel's Game' was even better. But this is very disappointing. It goes nowhere. It starts with the appearance of a strange and sinister figure, then goes into a long backstory from the grim early days of the Franco regime. When the sinister figure re-appears he is revealed as sad and irrelevant, and quickly departs the story. In the backstory a new figure appears as chief villain, but he never really emerges as anything more than a nasty but unremarkable Francoist functionary. Nothing much really happens. This is a very different version of a story which most of us grew up with. In this version Judas, the narrator, is a knife wielding freedom fighter (or terrorist, depending on your point of view) in a gritty, edgy, and dangerous land, who with his best friend Ben Jo savages the brutal but inept Roman forces. In time Judas becomes disillusioned with violence, and falls in with the unworldly preacher Yeshua, while Ben Jo, who bears a striking resemblance to Yeshua, decides that there is more profit in preaching than in political terrorism.
