A very comprehensive look at the back catalogue of the group. Any half-serious Band lover will have these, but the newcomer to American Rock history cannot but be impressed with the breadth of the roots of the Bands influences, plus the musicianship of Robertson, Danko, Manuel and Hudson. All over a nice compilation or introduction.
Jon Boden promised 'a folk song a day' for a whole year. Decemcer's addition keeps up the standard and variety of previous months. The whole project shows us the depth of the folk tradition. Hope he continues delivering an important contribution to our folk heritage. Keep it up Jon.
