5.0 out of 5 stars prog progesses ....., 19 Mar 2011
First of all , why am I the first to rate this album ???? Its way too good for just one review !!!!
I love Yes , and I really feel that this band retain the essence of much of what that band stood for .... by that , I dont just mean that the bass player or guitarist sound in any way like Squire of Howe , or that the singer sounds like Anderson .... oh no .
They seem to have taken inspiration from that group (and others) , and created something original and inspiring.
Its a real musical adventure ... a multi layered journey ... loud grungy guitar mix with lyrical instrumental passages , effective vocal harmonies , great choruses and sublime tunes . Yes , tunes , which after… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars more proggy magic !, 9 July 2008
The jury may still be out regarding studio album quality since the departure of Neil Morse , but this DVD (and the Beard show I saw 3 days ago) proves that as a live unit , they must currently be one of the best prog outfits about. The mixture of old and newer material works well - the musicianship and good old fashioned showmanship is exceptional. This band look like they are enjoying it as much as the fans. As other reviewers have pointed out , Mr D'Virgilio has come from behind the drums and grown into the role of lead vocalist , but everyone does their bit to present some inspired performances. All in all , a must have package.

5.0 out of 5 stars my album of the year ?, 9 July 2008
It's early to make such a claim , but this is soooo good ....
Beautiful subtle musical arrangements enfold a delicate and emotional voice - a feeling of quiet drama permeates every song. The 40 minute journey with Miss Edgar is over all too soon , and you just want to repeat the experience.
