I bought this despite there being quite a few "slatings" of it on Amazon reviews.

I watched it for the first time and thought it was a great film - maybe partly because I recognised the scenes and actions going on after reading the book for the first time last year.

As far as I can see, all the scenes are there, all the dialogue if there and the acting is fine - in fact better than fine. Personally, I loved Mercutio and Benvolio in this film. Lots of great songs on this album, however, one of the songs that feature in the film is not on this album. The song? Always On My Mind by Willie Nelson. This could be considered as the main song of this film and is an important part of the storyline to the film, so why is it not on the album? That is disappointing.

She is clearly trting to be "hard" and attitude-laden to get rid of the Hannah Montana past. But she has gone too far with this idea, which has resulted in the album being very boring and full of songs with no passion, style, melody or feel.

She has rappers on most of them and she raps herself too in quite a few of them. Swearing and foul-mouthed profanities quite regularly appear in the songs,… Read more
